The Woodstock Film Festival sent word today that Julian Schanbel's The Diving Bell and the Butterfly and Todd Haynes' I'm Not There will be the event's respective opening- and closing-night films. They'll be joined by centerpiece titles Married Life and Under the Same Moon; the first three films will be fresh off their runs at the New York Film Festival in early October, while Patricia Riggen's Moon premiered last January at Sundance. All four films are screening this weekend in Toronto.
We'll have the fest's full slate around Sept. 18, when it hosts its launch party in Manhattan, and look for additional coverage closer to the WFF opening Oct. 11.
