The gang at IFC Films sends word that it has snagged Lars Von Trier's "comedy" Boss of it All for its First Take label, marking the third acquisition in seven days for the art-house behemoth: The distributor just this weekend picked up the Hamptons title AMERICANese for the imprint, only days after the muscle soreness from its Weinstein Co./Penelope tryst began to wear off. No release date is set, but as with the last IFC/Von Trier film Manderlay and so much of the director's canon, just keep your head up and wait for the smell. It will be here before you know it.
