Some of today’s movie news of note from around New York:
-- Who you gonna call? Not The New York Times if you’re looking for
information about the city’s famous shooting locations. Factchecker's day off?
--The New York Sun, however, knows a bit about locations and wants you to know that some of this year's Oscar-nominated films were shot in New York City. I guess this explains why so many Boston U. grads live in Williamsburg.
--Speaking of shooting locations, there should be quite a scene taking place in Brooklyn tonight starting at 6 p.m. But enough about the potential six-day clash between local residents and film crews -- I Am Legend is getting apocalyptic in DUMBO!
