Some of todays movie news of note from around New York:
--Illness kept me from attending the remarkable-sounding Farce of the Penguins premiere party that brought Bob Saget, Tracy Morgan, Gilbert Gottfried and Lewis Black among others to Tenjune Tuesday night, but thanks to Gawker, none of us have to feel left out. Except for Saget's father, that is.
--Entertainment Weekly has gone generalizing about Martin Scorsese again, and the Cinetrix will have none of it -- especially when the Fung Wah bus is involved.
--Jimmy Fallon is an Andy Warhol expert like Rob Lawton is an Oscar enthusiast: "Best Picture? I dunno….. Iwo Jima? Happy now? Great."
--Oh, and all that chatter about Hayden Christensen plumbing Sienna Miller, like, for real, on the set of Factory Girl? Just a bunch of nonsense on the part of a "sad tabloid." Says the Post. I'm not getting involved.
