An observant reader just reminded me that Persepolis co-director Marjane Satrapi will be at the McNally Robinson bookstore on Prince Street this evening to sign copies of The Complete Persepolis, the graphic novel on which the acclaimed animated film is based. The signing starts around 6; the movie opens Dec. 25 in New York. The novel, about Satrapi's coming of age amid Islamic Revolution-era Iran, should hopefully hold you over until then.
