The crew at IFC Center sent word to indieWIRE late Monday that David Lynch's digitally shot, self-distributed Hollywood-meditation marathon Inland Empire is locked in for two weeks starting Dec. 6. Sources today tell The Reeler that while no principals are yet confirmed to attend, star Justin Theroux is a neighborhood guy and Lynch himself is set to be in New York the week before for an event at Lincoln Center. The likelihood of him staying over is said to be quite a bit higher than that of Laura Dern dropping in, but never underestimate the influence of the Oscar campaign that took its test spin earlier this month at the NY Flm Festival.
Anyway, it's all supposition at this point; when I hear, you'll hear.
